GLOWLI Market
Privacy Policy
Last updated 23 September 2026
GLOWLI Market matches homeowners with one vetted local outdoor lighting installer and books the consultation. This policy explains what we collect when you do that, who receives it, and what you can ask us to do about it.
The Short Version
- Vetted installers only, never sold on. Your details go to the vetted local installers we match to your project — up to four — so you can compare quotes. We do not pass them to installers we have not vetted, and we do not sell them to unrelated companies.
- We will call, text and email you about the consultation you asked for. You can stop that at any time, by any means — see Marketing & Contact Policy.
- We measure our advertising. That involves sending limited data to advertising platforms, which some state laws treat as "sharing" or "targeted advertising". You can opt out — see Your Privacy Choices.
- We take no payment from you, so we never collect card or bank details.
This summary is for convenience. The sections below are what govern.
Who We Are
GLOWLI Market, operated by [registered entity name]. We are an online matching service and keep no premises open to the public, so we publish no street address. For anything about your data, reach us at privacy@glowli-selected.com and we will answer.
Information We Collect
"Personal information" means information that identifies you or could reasonably be linked to you. We collect it in three ways: directly from you, automatically as you use the site, and occasionally from other sources.
Directly from you
- Contact details. Your name, phone number and email address.
- Property and project details. The town or city, the property address on the longer form, what you want lit, your timing, and anything you write in the notes.
- What you tell us on a call. Including the content of calls that are recorded.
Automatically
- How you reached us. The page you landed on, the referring site, and advertising click identifiers and campaign parameters where present — including
gclid, gbraid, wbraid, fbclid, msclkid, ttclidand UTM parameters. - Device and usage data. IP address, browser and operating system, the pages you viewed and when, and which links you followed — collected through cookies, pixels, web beacons and similar technologies.
From other sources
Advertising and analytics platforms tell us which campaign produced a visit. Our matched installers tell us whether an appointment went ahead and whether work was agreed, which is how we are paid. [If you ever append or enrich lead data from a third-party provider, it must be disclosed here before you start.]
How We Use It
- To call you, confirm the project and book your consultation.
- To pass your enquiry to the vetted installers covering your area, so they can quote and attend.
- To confirm, reschedule or cancel an appointment.
- To measure which advertising produced real, completed work, and to report completed jobs back to advertising platforms so they stop spending on enquiries that go nowhere.
- To improve the site, to investigate problems and to keep the service secure.
- To meet our legal, tax and record-keeping obligations, and to resolve disputes.
How We Share It
- The matched installers. Up to four vetted contractors, each receiving what they need to quote your project and to attend if you choose them. An installer who leaves the network receives nothing further.
- Service providers acting on our instructions. Hosting, call tracking and recording, scheduling, email and messaging, and analytics. They may use your information only to provide that service to us.
- Advertising platforms, for measurement and attribution — see Targeted Advertising, Sale and Sharing.
- Legal and safety. Where we must comply with law, a subpoena or a government request, or to establish or defend legal claims.
- A business transfer. If the business or its assets are sold or reorganised, information may pass to the acquirer, subject to this policy.
We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not pass your details to multiple contractors to bid against each other.
Tracking Technologies and Cookies
We use cookies, browser storage, pixels and web beacons to keep your session, to remember how you reached the site so we can attribute a booking to the right campaign, and to measure advertising. Some are set by us and some by advertising and analytics providers on our behalf.
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. The forms still work if you do — our attribution simply becomes incomplete.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Browsers send different and inconsistent "Do Not Track" signals and there is no agreed standard, so we do not respond to DNT. We do treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a valid opt-out of targeted advertising and of any sharing described below, for the browser that sends it.
Targeted Advertising, Sale and Sharing
We advertise, and we measure whether that advertising produces real work. To do that we send advertising platforms limited data — typically a click identifier and the fact that a consultation was booked or a job closed, with its value.
We do not sell personal information for money. But several state privacy laws define "sale", "sharing" and "targeted advertising" broadly enough that this measurement may count. We treat it as though it does, which means you can opt out of it — see Your Privacy Choices.
Passing your details to the installer you asked to be matched with is a disclosure made at your direction to fulfil your request, not a sale.
We do not knowingly process sensitive personal information, and we do not sell or share the personal information of anyone we know to be under 16.
Communications and Call Recording
When you submit a form you consent to be contacted about your request by call, text and email, including by automated dialing system or prerecorded voice, and calls may be recorded. Recording-consent law varies by state and we apply the stricter all-party standard everywhere. The full detail, and every way to revoke consent, is in our Marketing & Contact Policy.
How Long We Keep It
We keep enquiry records for [retention period for enquiries] and call recordings for [retention period for recordings], after which they are deleted or anonymised. We keep what we must keep for longer where tax, accounting or legal-hold obligations require it.
Your Privacy Choices
Whatever state you live in, you can always:
- Stop marketing contact. Reply STOP to a text, use the unsubscribe link in an email, tell us on a call, or email optout@glowli-selected.com.
- Opt out of targeted advertising. Email privacy@glowli-selected.com, or send a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser. You can also use the industry opt-out tools at optout.aboutads.info and optout.networkadvertising.org. Those are browser-based, so they need repeating on each browser and device.
- Ask us to delete your enquiry at any point, including after a consultation is booked.
United States Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live — California and Texas residents in particular, and residents of a growing number of other states — you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we hold about you and how we use and disclose it.
- Obtain a copy of it, in a portable form.
- Correct it if it is inaccurate.
- Delete it.
- Opt out of its sale, of sharing for cross-context behavioural advertising, and of targeted advertising.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.
How to make a request. Email privacy@glowli-selected.com saying what you want. We may need to verify who you are before we act, usually by matching details against the enquiry you submitted. An authorised agent may act for you with written permission we can verify.
How long we take. We respond within 45 days, and tell you if we need a further 45 days.
If we say no. You may appeal, free of charge, by replying to our decision with the word "appeal". We will respond within 60 days with our conclusion and the reasons for it. If we refuse the appeal, we will tell you how to complain to your state Attorney General.
Children's Privacy
The site is meant for adults arranging work on a property. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us their information, email privacy@glowli-selected.com and we will delete it.
Security
We use access controls, encryption in transit, and vendors selected for their own security practices, and we limit access to the people who need it to run the service. No system is impenetrable and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we will tell you and the relevant authorities if a breach affecting your information occurs, as the law requires.
Other Sites We Link To
Our matched installers, and any site we link to, operate under their own privacy policies. We do not control them and are not responsible for what they do with information you give them directly.
Visitors Outside the United States
We serve homeowners in the United States, and information we collect is processed and stored there. If you use the site from elsewhere, you are sending your information to the United States.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page, and we will tell you directly if a change materially affects how we use information you have already given us.
